Location: 1101 Bowman Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC
Nason Medical Center, located in Mt. Pleasant, is an advanced emergency facility able to treat ambulatory patients with state of the art medical equipment and personalized care. Chastain reoriented the majority of all workable space, upgraded the utilities to medical standards, and installed med-gas and other medical systems. In addition, Chastain installed a highly evolved information technology system to help control and expedite patient flow and record keeping. Another major task assigned was redesigning the interior such that it provides a clinical atmosphere for both staff and patients. One final touch was building a porte cochere, a porch-like roof extending over the driveway.
